As the key special planning of Overall Planning for National Land Space of Lanzhou (2021-2035), the Project aims to adapt and lead the new pattern of national land space development of Lanzhou, promote the effective coordination of transportation factors and other factors of national land space, systematically optimize the layout of urban transportation infrastructure, accelerate the construction of a modern comprehensive transportation system of “external connection and internal smoothness, multi-dimensional and green wisdom”, and comprehensively promote the high-quality development of Lanzhou transportation.

JSTI is fully responsible for the compilation of the results of Lanzhou Urban Comprehensive Transportation System Planning.
Work Highlights
Relying on emerging technologies such as cloud computing and big data, and based on taxi track data, POI data and resident trip survey data, the Project carried out research on urban transport operation and spatial and temporal characteristics distribution of residents in Lanzhou. Fully analyzed the status quo, problems and development trend of urban transportation development in Lanzhou, and put forward clear development objectives and development strategies around the urban development orientation and national spatial development pattern of Lanzhou. Based on the urban spatial structure, population distribution, future travel demand characteristics and other factors, proposed a scientific and reasonable planning scheme to provide strong support for Lanzhou to accelerate the construction of a national comprehensive transportation hub city and the construction of a “strong provincial capital”.
